Honeywell HUT-102M Quietcare Ultrasonic Humidifier

First, the Honeywell HUT-102M Quietcare Ultrasonic  Humidifier is quiet. I keep beside my bed and the noise is very weak and does not bother me at all. I use only distilled water. That's a bit pricey, but I can get one liter jugs at Wal-Mart for 64 cents, so it is better than the white matter around the room. This model is "white dust" filter, but most such filters are dubious at best.

Now the problems about this Ultrasonic Humidifier. A complete pain. If it is not empty, the water is in the database, which tend to drip and if you lift the tank for refilling spilled off. So I make the entire unit to the sink just to make sure I do not get water all over my carpet. (Water can leak if you do not love the unit level.) Moreover, the reservoir at the bottom, so you have the tank upside down to fill. The tank top is slanted so that you can set it down. You must keep the tank with one hand, and the other form. The process is very clumsy.

The last thing I must say that this is incredibly annoying blue light. It is your entire bedroom and can not be disabled. I wrap a towel around him. What were they thinking? Certainly, it is cool, until you try to sleep.

Overall, it works well and is quiet, exactly why I bought  this Ultrasonic Humidifier and I'm keeping. If you are elderly or rheumatism, the girations you need to go through filling cause you to look elsewhere.
